Woche der Religionen: Taizé - Info

To kick off the Week of Religions, we will visit the Taizé celebration together in the "Night of Lights". As an introduction, there will be a short introduction to the topic of Taizé at the KULTURPUNKT, framed by a snack. Afterwards, they will go together to St. Martin's Church for the Taizé celebration with ecumenical prayer, singing and silence.

The Week of Religions aims to build bridges between cultures and deepen respect for people of other faiths. It will take place throughout Switzerland at the beginning of November. In Graubünden, the activities are organised by an interdenominational team in cooperation with the Graubünden Forum of Religions.

The Night of Lights aims to cultivate interreligious fellowship in our canton. It is open to everyone and understands itself across generations.
It is also aimed at young confirmands and confirmands who are accompanied to the celebration by their teachers and pastors, as well as young adults who want to keep in touch with the church after confirmation or confirmation, and people of all ages who are looking for this quiet form of celebration. Singing together with people of different ages has given the Night of Lights in Chur a special character for many years.

The Night of Lights is meditatively shaped by songs from Taizé with musical accompaniment, prayer and silence.
