Skiing & Snowboarding at Brambrüesch

Thanks to a modern aerial cableway, ski lift and chair lift, you can reach 2,200 m above sea level directly from the city centre in wintertime. The manageable area and winter sports experiences far away from any hectic pace are highly appreciated not only by families and connoisseurs.

Even if Brambrüesch cannot keep up with the large areas in terms of transport facilities and kilometres of slopes, it still has its very own charm. And exactly this contrast is the reason for many to visit the familiar mountain. The deep view of the Rhine Valley in Chur and the panorama of the Grisons mountains, which opens up from Brambrüesch, are impressive.

Welcome to the natural snow paradise

The 20 km of natural snow pistes offer surprisingly varied possibilities at all levels of difficulty (blue/red/black). And the legendary red Tschu-Tschu train, which connects the top station with the ski lift, does not only delight the little guests. Even on well-attended weekends there is plenty of space for everyone on the wide slopes.

In addition to single tickets, day tickets and 4-hour tickets, there are also attractive tickets for families and single families.

Children's lift & AIS sports school

Parallel to the ski lift and in the immediate vicinity of two mountain restaurants is the children's lift. It runs in flat terrain and is ideal for the first attempts on the ski/snowboard for children and beginners. The children's lift operates daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free of charge.

The AIS sports school at Brambrüesch is also a competent partner for ski and snowboard courses. Equipment (skis, snowboards, boots, snowshoes, crossblades) can also be hired directly on the mountain. The AIS sports school is located in the Brambus-Center directly below the valley station of the ski lift and opposite the Bergbaiz.

Ski rental and ski service in the city centre

The Outside Chur Experience Service Centre offers top ski rental and ski service right in the centre of Chur. It is centrally located in the city and in the immediate vicinity of the valley station of the Brambrüesch winter sports area in Chur and at the starting point for several top ski areas in Graubünden
