Ski tours Brambrüesch/Dreibündenstein

Rewarding ski tour, beginning at the top gondola station in Brambrüesch. Ascent through the forest at first, later on close to the ski slopes up to Furggabüel and the Dreibündenstein high plateau, which is being crossed on the tour (possible to ski down without skins). At appr. 2100m the ascent to the Fulhorn begins. Take care along the ascent since there are steep parts and snow drifts.

Descents are possible to Feldis, Scheid, Pradaschier/Churwalden and in good snow conditions even to Domat/Ems. Always observe the prevailing snow and weather conditions as well as the avalanche situation (Bulletin Tel. 187) or online at www.slf.ch.

The tours can be easily started with the cableways in Chur. The ascent from the Brambrüesch mountain station is worthwhile, if you want to save metres in altitude, you can also take the lift and chairlift to Furggabüel (single journeys are available for tourers, the Half-Fare travelcard is valid). Chur can be easily reached by public transport from Domat/Ems, Feldis, Scheid or Churwalden.

The slopes at Brambrüesch, especially in the Dreibündenstein-Hühnerköpfe area, are prepared with a snow groomer incl. winch. Depending on the nature of the terrain and the location of the snow groomer, the 1 km long steel cable is hardly visible - especially not in the dark. This does not necessarily pose a danger to skiers going uphill, but it does pose a danger to skiers going downhill. Serious accidents have already occurred in various snow sports areas. Please avoid the pistes after the closing of the slopes, because then the piste vehicle drivers are on the way and bring the pistes into a perfect condition, in order to make our guests happy the following day again. The Bergbahnen Chur-Dreibündenstein AG must decline any liability in the event of damage or loss!
